Regional and domestic women handball club champions Nairobi Water Queens were literally forced to teach visiting Seychelles national team with a whopping 45-16 defeat in a friendly encounter.
The Water Queens took total command of the match from the first whistle to earn the visitors their second defeat at the Nyayo National Stadium handball court on Thursday evening.
The two-time local champions took a commanding 24-8 lead at the breather and continued to attack to add 21 more scores in the second half.
The hosts added salt to the already wounded Seychelles who are in the country for a series of friendly matches in preparations for the Oceania championships.
In another encounter played at the same venue, Ulinzi’sm men team came from behind to narrowly defeat Seychelles 33-30 in a mouthwatering encounter.
