Kenya: The fraud case against former Finance Minister Amos Kimunya is set for hearing after a Milimani court directed it begins in July.
Three weeks ago, the case was postponed pending judgement of a similar case at the High Court.
Kimunya's defence team yesterday sought the case to be re-allocated fresh dates after he lost a bid to stop the case at the High Court last week.
Nairobi Senior Principal magistrate Lucy Mbugua allowed their application and directed the matter to be heard on three consecutive days in July.
Kimunya is accused jointly with others of fraudulently disposing off public property worth over Sh60 million during his tenure as Lands minister.
