Court told how man defiled minor

Nakuru, Kenya: A court was on Thursday told of how a man defiled a 14-year-old girl before attacking her mother, who had sought to rescue her.

Resident Magistrate Eunice Kelly heard that the accused, who is also a neighbour, attacked the woman after defiling her daughter in a case in which Robert Kiprotich is accused of defiling the minor in Bondeni estate in February.

Mr Kiprotich is said to have committed the offence in February after he lured the minor to his house. The girl had been left alone playing outside their house as the mother attended to her shop a few metres from the house.
