Kisumu, Kenya; The Nyando Magistrate's Court has sentenced to life imprisonment a man found guilty of defiling a one-year-old child.
The case presided by Resident Magistrate Paul Wechuli found Samuel Ochieng' Odago guilty of committing the offence in Tura sub-location early this year.
"It defies logic that a grown man can do such thing to a one-and-a-half-year-old child," said Mr Wechuli.
A witness who found the man in the act told the court that he struggled with the accused before managing to free the child.
He then informed other residents of what had happened.
