Falsehoods blamed for strained Kenya, Washington relations

Falsehood peddled about the Jubilee administration has been blamed for the frosty relations between the US and the Kenyan Government.

Kirinyaga Central MP Gachoki Gitari said the same American government had now embraced President Uhuru Kenyatta after discovering that they had been misinformed about his government.

"It is common knowledge some enemies of our beloved President have been peddling falsehoods about him to the American government," he said.

The legislator at the same time supported revocation of titles for illegally acquired land in Lamu, adding that those dissatisfied with the decision should challenge it in court.
