The Government must reconsider setting up of public and private universities in the country, former Gangoni councillor, Ms Margaret Olang has said.
"This country needs technical staff to help the country manage its affairs, the current trend where university graduates cannot perform simple tasks is not acceptable,' she said.
Ms Olang called for the setting up of a public university in each county. She praised former President Daniel Arap Moi who has questioned the mushrooming of universities in Kenya.
" I laud President Moi for helping us get the right brains to manage our affairs, what we are seeing today is disaster in the making,' she said.
