Form Three student commits suicide after quarrel with mother

A Form Three student of Odoyo Mara Secondary School was found dead after allegedly committing suicide at Kabaazi area in Nyandarua County on Wednesday evening.

Subukia OCPD Alex Ng’ang’a said the girl, 17, was found dead in a coffee plantation near Kabaazi caners.

Ng’ang’a said a bottle of triatix, a pesticide for ticks, was recovered adjacent to her body.

The police officer said  the girl had quarrelled with her mother before leaving for school and did not return home after her classes.

Her body was found in the plantation after a search was mounted for her.
