Kajiado, Kenya: A 13-year-old-girl in KMQ village, Kajiado County has died after undergoing female genital mutilation (FGM) on Monday.
Police have now launched a manhunt for her guardian and an old woman said to be the circumciser who have since gone into hiding.
The area Assistant Chief Shadrack Mututua rescued three other girls of her age, and who had run away to evade the cut.
He took them to a Seventh Day Adventist Rescue Centre in Kajiado town.
