Tomas Rosicky

Tomas Rosicky insists Arsenal are better equipped to sustain a championship challenge than they have been for years. Arsene Wenger's side currently sit at the top of the table, a point ahead of Manchester City.

And Rosicky believes that after a difficult patch in December, the Gunners can now draw upon the experience of the current squad to maintain their title push.

He said: "It was a bit bumpy when we lost against Manchester City and drew against Everton.

"But you will always have phases like that in a year so that's nothing new.

"This team has more experience than it did in the past. We have [Per] Mertesacker, [Mesut] Ozil, who won things in Madrid and the other experienced boys like Mikel [Arteta] and [Mathieu] Flamini.
