Diego Costa would cost Arsenal £145million, says Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger appears to have pulled out of the race to sign Diego Costa – after suggesting the Atletico Madrid striker would cost £145million.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Costa in recent days with Wenger on the hunt for another striker during the transfer window.

But despite suggestions that the Brazil-born Spain star could be snapped for around £32million, Wenger says the true cost is a lot more.
