Kwale County: Drama unfolded at Ukunda town, Kwale County after a man went berserk and started stabbing people before members of the public turned on him, prompting him to run for his dear life to Diani police station.
The 24-year old, Hadi Iddi Mwadzoro, was armed with two sharp knives and an axe that he used to stab his victims, making the town to come to a standstill for about 30 minutes.
“I had parked my motorbike and went to greet someone who was pushing a cart before the man came and stabbed me at the neck,” said Joseph Mwakera, a boda boda operator.
Hassan Simba who works at Promise hotel said the man entered the hotel and grabbed a knife and an axe and proceeded to a car wash station where he wanted to stab other people, who ran away.
