Menengai Oil racing team Carl Tundo have conquered all and sundry to emerge the best during the KCB Mobi Kisumu Rally Championship.
Tundo navigated by Tim Jesop clocked 1:40.01 at the Section 8 and final destination to register his second win of the season in the sixth round of rally championship yesterday in Kisumu.
The pair who were cruising a Mitsubishi EVOX 9 were followed by homeboys Japreet Singh Chatthe and his navigator Gurdeep Panaser of the Kibos team who clocked 1:44.06 in the CS 8 and final section.
The pair beat the home team Chatthe and Panaser with two minutes and 31 seconds, Chatthe and Panaser were driving EVOX 10 and were in the second position during the CS 6 section and maintained the pace to drive home with the silver medal.

In the third place was Kabras team of Baldev Charger and Ravi Soni in their EVOX 10 in 1:44.00 while during the CS 7 they had clocked 1:25.10.
Ian Duncan came in fourth in 1:45.55 followed by Anwar Azar timing 1:46.40.
“Though we encountered boda boda on the way and rocks as well, I’m happy for the feat,” said Tundo.
The rally was flaged off the Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma and the area Senator Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o.
Steve Gacheru and his mate Dennis Kitoti have also bowed out after hitting a ditch on CS 6 after losing control on a drown and rolled severally. He was airlifted by a chopper to Chemase weighbridge where the St John team were on standby.
Others drivers who bowed out were Onkar Singh Rai, Tejveer Singh Rai, Manvir Baryan, Sarit Shah and Harshil Lambani.
