Police are investigating the ownership of a Mercedes Benz found with a Swedish national accused of promoting prostitution.
The vehicle was found parked at Christoph Weissenrieder’s apartment in Nyali, Mombasa, and was initially thought to be a diplomat’s car.
But Kisauni District Criminal Investigation Officer Shadrack Juma said the diplomatic number plate on the car belongs to a different car.
Meanwhile, a foreigner has been charged in a Shanzu court with allegedly defiling his two house helps.
