Mtwapa, Kenya: A dispute has erupted in a village in the county between a peasant who wants to rear a kid born with two heads and four eyes and residents, who believe the creature should be killed because it has brought bad luck.
A she goat delivered two weeks ago sparking anxiety.
The kid has survived for two weeks and veterinary officers have taken it from Cassava village to the Mtwapa Farmers Training Centre for further analysis and to determine if it can survive.
The owner believed it is a good omen but neighbours were suspicious of his belief system.
A veterinary officer Jack Omolo and County Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Mwalimu Menza examined the goat and kid then recommended transfer to Mtwapa.
