Over 3,500 boda boda riders in Murang'a County have been mobilized to transport the sick, expectant mothers, and persons living with disabilities to the polling centres on August 9.

Ahadi Trust Executive Director Stanley Kamau has mobilized the riders in each of the 35 electoral wards in the county, an effort to ensure the vulnerable people are assisted to cast their votes.

Speaking at Nyangiti grounds, Mathioya constituency, Dr Kamau said the boda boda operators play a vital role and thus need to be facilitated to enable them to transport the villagers to the polling centres and back.
