Police in Nyahururu have arrested a 23-year-old woman who allegedly defiled a two-and-a-half-year-old boy.
The woman, Betty Chepkoech, was arrested at Losogwa.
This is after CCTV footage showed how she allegedly assaulted the minor sexually.
According to Nyahururu sub-county police commander Geofrey Mayiek, she was working as a house help.
He said that the parents reported to the police and that is when they viewed the contents of the footage before they took action.

“She excited the private parts of the boy by tickling it with her fingers and then she removed her pants and inserted the boys’ genitalia in her private parts,” he said.
Mayiek noted that the boy was taken for a medical checkup and the assailant subjected to full medical process.
She is set to be arraigned, he said.
