Kenyan supermodel and former Miss Universe Gayline aka Gee Gee is setting New York on fire.
Gee Gee took to social media to share content from the festivities a week after blasting Kenyan influencers for their "no style" at a Maybelline event at Ole Sereni Hotel where the high-end cosmetic line launched a new mascara.
The former Miss Universe Kenya 2014 who once criticised Kenyan influencers heavily for their low-hanging fruit style "and failing to give a Maybelline experience" has been receiving backlash for her brutal honesty, but influencers have had nothing, but praise for her.
Her sentiments were echoed by her friend and influencer Vykiee Toriah, who is known to thrift clothes from her retail store Tory V Luxe.
"The reason we trust you is that you come to us when we get out of line," wrote a user, while others were left marvelling at her mellifluous style after she was spotted in a two-piece bustier-like coat and flair pants from Kenyan house and apparel company Monoxrome.
