Family Bank is sponsoring more than 70 of its SME customers for a 10-day business trip to the United States.
They will meet and share experiences with their business counterparts, participate in trade fairs, visit tourist sites and benchmark with best international practices in their respective business lines.
The customers will visit New York, Virginia, Washington DC, Philadelphia and Maryland. The entrepreneurs will attend two international business forums — the International Franchise Expo in New York, a 3-day event to be held from June 15 to June 17, 2017 and the American-Kenyan-Turkish trilateral forum.
“The Bank is keen to facilitate, empower and nurture the growth of our home-grown businesses. We consider such business trips as platforms of empowerment,” said Family Bank CEO David Thuku.
