Embassava buses management have denied their staff’s involvement in the stripping of a woman in Nairobi last week.
This after a clip appeared on social media showing a woman being stripped for allegedly dressing inappropriately in public capturing one of their buses.
Many viewers claimed the act was done by the Sacco’s employees. A group known as Kilimani Mums have planned a demonstration today against stripping of women.
Yesterday, the Embassava management argued that all their staff are uniformed and none was seen in the footage that was posted in the Internet.
“After close scrutiny, it is clear the heinous act was performed by notorious touts along our operation routes,” said the Sacco’s Secretary, Alfred Bichanga.
