Kenya Police won the fourth leg of National Boxing League at Madison Square Garden in Nakuru at the weekend.
Police amassed 23 points followed by Kenya Prisons 17, Nakuru ABC 10 points, Coast eight and Central four points.
Police presented eight boxers in the finals and six of them won their bouts.
Police winners were Martin Oduor in the bantamweight category, Joseph Shigali (lightweight), Silas Omasake (light welter), Niven Okumu (welter weight), Hezron Maganga (light heavyweight) and Peter Opudi(super heavyweight).

Oduor forced Elijah Munyasia of Coast to retire in second round as Shigali won 5-3 points against Ibrahim Nassur of Prisons.
Forced to retire
In the other bout, Omasake ,too, forced Anthony Ngugi of Prisons to retire in second round as Okumu hit Salim Mustafa of Nakuru 6-4 points.
Maganga defeated George Otieno of Prisons on RSC after an injury in second round, while Opudi clobbered Zilo Muhanji of Prisons on points.
Thomas Kasina (flyweight) and David Njuguna (heavyweight) were the policemen who lost their fights.
Kasina lost to stubborn Harrison Mathuku of Prisons on 12-10 points, while Njuguna was overwhelmed by Olympian Aziz Ali of Prisons in the first round.
In other matches, John Njuguna of Central defeated Nakuru’s Jonah Kanyiri on 25-6 points in the light flyweight while hard hitting homeboy in Patrick Maina smashed Barrack Ochieng’ of Coast also on points.
