The crowd here is mature and includes foreigners. No wonder lovers of rumba, benga, and traditional Ohangla music frequent here. Occasionally, Deep West also holds cultural theme nights.
Architecturally, the resort has an African-cum-Italian design with maroon and light decorated walls. Colourful wallpapers cover a section of the expansive resort.

A simple but attractive chandelier is placed at the main entrance. Smooth wooden tables, metal and leather chairs matched with brown and black African artefacts contribute to the inviting ambience. Another element of attraction is the silky maroon roof over the dance floor.

Deep West Resort is not just a club but a hotel, too. Rooms come in doubles or singles and are tastefully decorated in warm, summer colours. The bed headboards in the rooms are shaped like a helm. There are seven executive rooms and each contains spacious showers, a bathtub, TV, telephone connection and a mirrored working area.
If you prefer the outdoors, there is a wide tent along the parking space that cooks nyama choma as you watch.
Sundays are popular with families as the resort has a special playground for children for them to play and have their faces painted.
