Kenya lost narrowly by 3-2 against Central African Republic in a friendly match that was played at Stade De Marrakech in Morocco.
CAR opened the scoring through Foxi Kethevoama at the 14th minute before Kenya’s Eric Joanna Omondi could pounce for a reply to make it 1-1, after getting a pass from Michael Olunga.
Eudes Dagoulou then made it 2-1 the 63rd minute, making Harambee Stars to chase the game once more. Hilaire Momi then slotted a penalty expanding the lead for Stanley Okumbi’s men.
However, Kenyans fought back and their efforts paid off after Michael Olunga found the back of the net in the 87th minute. This came after the Harambee Stars were reduced to 10 men after Ismael Athuman saw red for making for a bookable offense.
After having drawn 2-2 against Comoros on the first friendly encounter, Stars are expected back in the country on Thursday after accomplishing their friendly matches.
