A survey run by the Mirror asked fans of each club which current top flight sides they hate, and United came out as the most disliked side overall.
Current Premier League champions, Chelsea, came out as the next most reviled side.
Liverpool are the third most hated, while Manchester City and Tottenham complete the top five.
Premier League new boys Bournemouth came out bottom of the list - meaning they were the least hated, followed by Southampton, Swansea, Watford and Norwich.

The view of fans of each Premier League club were given equal weighting in drawing up the results, no matter how many voted, to keep the overall table fair.
The survey also asked which clubs fans loved, with Southampton coming out top.
The Saints were followed by Bournemouth as the second most loved side with Swansea, Arsenal and Everton completing the top five.
