Oman: Shocked British tourists watched in horror as a midnight brawl broke out at 39,000 feet – over legroom.
Frightened passengers intervened after two men started fighting in a blazing row on a flight from Heathrow Airport yesterday.
One man rained punches on a fellow flyer and then even took off his shoe to try and attack him.
A women passenger in an adjacent seat screamed: “Stop it, stop it there’s a baby here.”
The pilot radioed ahead and when the plane landed in the Oman capital Muscat a man was taken away for questioning.

The fight broke out on Oman Air flight 102 from London’s Heathrow Airport to Muscat.
One passenger said: “It really was a really nasty incident.
“The flight was quite empty and when one man moved seats another objected to his space being taken up.
“Before we knew up there was a full scale brawl.
“One guy completely lost the plot and started throwing several punches.
“Eventually the flight crew was alerted and managed to calm him down.
“It was pretty terrifying especially with the Germanwings tragedy only happening last month.
“Most people were asleep as it was just after midnight but they were woken up by the commotion.”
