Dr Waithira Wamwea has been appointed the chief strategy officer at pathologists Lancet Kenya, the largest independent medical laboratory firm in Kenya.
Previously a manager at Meridian Medical Centre, Dr Wamwea will also oversee Lancet's subsidiaries in Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
