Kanu National Vice-Chairman Gideon Moi has called on the Government to ensure that all families evicted from Mau Forest more than two years ago are resettled.
Gideon took issue with the ministry of Special Programmes for what he termed selective allocation of land to a section of displaced families thus locking out others from the planned resettlement programme.

Profiled families
Gideon, who is a member of an ad hoc committee formed by Prime Minister Raila Odinga to look for land for the evictees, said the more than 5,000 families profiled should be resettled.
Speaking in Kapsoas village in Kericho County on Saturday when he inspected the ongoing construction of Chemachgaa water project, Gideon said they would work to ensure that no one was left out of the resettlement exercise.
The water project, which is funded by various donors to the tune of Sh18 million, will benefit more than 20,000 families once it is completed.
