A Muslim cleric in Mombasa have protested Saturday night arrest of a radio presenter, saying it was against the Bill of Rights enforced under the new Constitution.
Organising Secretary of the Council of Imams and Preaches of Kenya, Sheikh Mohamed Khalifa, said they might sue police for violating the Bill of Rights.
Sheikh Khalifa said the police have refused to change in their dealing with the public, despite the new laws.

The cleric was reacting to the arrest of a leading FM radio station producer and presenter in Mombasa by Anti-terror Police in connection with the twin bombings in Kampala, Uganda two months ago.
