A man suffered a double loss as the women he had hoped to have a “good time” with ended up robbing him, leaving him high and dry.
The incident happened last week on Friday night along the entrance of a building that houses a bank along Wabera Street in Nairobi.
According to askaris manning the buildings around where the incident happened, the smartly dressed man was in the company of two sex workers who had agreed to have sex with him, before they robbed him of his phone.
After discovering that his phone was missing, the distraught man went to guards to seek their assistance. The man had been duped that he was going to have sex in turns with the two women.
“Jamaa alidanganywa anaweza enda na zaidi ya mmoja wao kumbe mmoja wao aliingia mfukoni akapata simu na pesa akaenda nazo (He was duped that he can go with more than one of them and in the process, one of them got into his pocket and went with his cellphone and money),” said one of the guards.
According to the guards, the women ran away and left the man confused on what to do.
He later went to report the incident at Central Police Station as a robbery incident.
In a police report at the Central Police Station, the complainant (name withheld) claimed that while walking along the streets, he was approached by some women whom he believed were sex workers and he turned down their persuasion for sexual intercourse.
He claimed that the workers robbed him of his iPhone cellphone and he only discovered when he got near Jubilee building.
He says in the police report that he was on his way home after spending a good time with his friends in the city.
Police visited the area but couldn’t find the alleged women.
