Bongo superstar Diamond Platnumz is finally breathing a sigh relief after he met and shared a hearty moment with President John Pombe Magufuli at a Tanzanian airport.

An excited Diamond posted photos of the event on his social media pages after the two met and exchanged a few words. A sign that their ‘beef’ was over?

Diamond even got a chance to perform his song ‘Number One.

This comes after weeks of tension after Magufuli was heard complaining about obscene music videos in Tanzania which led to a ban of several songs including Diamond’s.

Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) took action and issued a ban on 13 songs including Diamond’s ‘Waka Waka’ and ‘Hallelujah.’

Some of the reasons given behind the ban was, ‘lyrics which violate ethics of regulations of broadcasting services (Content) 2005,’ according to a statement sent out to the media.
