Muranga leaders have welcomed the move to cancel the nominations by the Jubilee Party.

Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau said he was happy that the party had canceled the electrons because it was a flawed process.

"I am glad that it has been discarded because as a leader I would not like to be elected under a flawed process," he said.

Kamau who is vying for the gubernatorial seat said the process was a great disappointment to aspirants and voters.

Gatanga MP Humphrey Njuguna said that the ballot papers arrived in his constituency at 4pm "How can you send us 200 ballot papers for 2000 voters? It was a waste of time," he said

He noted that JP should learn to respect democracy.

Governor Mwangi wa Iria, said the party should carry out investigations to avoid losing credibility.

County MP Sabina Chege said that it was unfortunate that her daughter did not get to vote despite being registered during the mass voter registration.

A visibly upset Maragwa MP Peter kamande called the entire process a total sham.
