Kenyans are indeed an interesting lot. After a photo of Brenda Wairimu and her co-host Saadia Malicha did rounds on social media, the verdict from judgmental Kenyans was that Saadia was a bleacher. To clear the air, Brenda had to explain what went wrong and apologized to Saadia.
‘’This is an overdue post to clear the air on my co-host, having of course NOT bleached her skin. The pic on the right elicited a lot of reactions coz her knees seemed darker than the rest of her. 100% my bad, the effect of the filter used passed me by. Pole sana @saadiamalicha for the effects of this.’’ The actress-cum TV presenter posted.
It is not clear whether the reactions from haters solicited the apology or if it had to do with Saadia’s request to set the record straight.
However, from the many people who know Saadia, she is described as naturally beautiful with great skin and without any enhancements from bleach or skin lighteners as many chose to believe because of the color differences between her knees and body caused by the filter.
