Arsenal have confirmed Matieu Debuchy has joined Bordeaux on loan for the rest of the season.
The Frenchman was linked to a number of Premier League clubs - including Aston Villa and Manchester United - but heads to Ligue 1 instead.
As we reported earlier, Arsene Wenger blocked Man United’s move to take the defender on loan.
