Isinya, Kenya: A 32-year- old man was on Sunday night murdered by his 25-year- old wife over a TV technician at Majengo area, Isinya.
Antony Konana found by his wife Lucy Naisenya in their rental house having a meal with another man whom she claims to be a technician before they picked a quarrel prompting a fight that ended in murder.
The deceased is said to have been agitated by the man identified as 'technician Saitoti' as he claimed the two have been having an affair. When a quarrel ensued the technician is said to have ran away leaving the couple arguing. It is in this confrontation that the woman end stabbed the husband in the stomach severally using a kitchen knife.
The 10 pm commotion attracted neighbours who found the deceased lying on the floor in a pool of blood. The irate mob turned on the accused woman but Isinya police officers managed to rescue her before being lynched.
The deceased was pronounced dead by the time he was rushed to Isinya dispensary hospital.
Confirming the incident Isinya OCPD Stephen Weda said the suspect who is currently at the Isinya police station custody will help police in investigations.
''Our police officers managed to rescue the suspect from the wrath of his irate neighbours. We have arrested the suspect who is the wife of the deceased and we are pursuing the said technician to help us in investigations, ‘said OCPD Weda.
''The couple has been having frequent fights. The husband accuses the wife of not bearing children and being unfaithful while the wife accuses the man of being impotent, ‘claimed Joseph Nduku a neighbour.
The suspect will be arraigned in court on Thursday to answer murder charges.
