Three Swiss nationals have died after their plane crashed into Aberdare Forest in Kipipiri area. The plane had been missing since Thursday.

Kenya Wildlife Service pilot Major Koech traced the missing aircraft wreckage with three bodies.

The three were a woman, her daughter and the pilot.

KWS officials are currently working on retrieving the bodies.

The aircraft disappeared from the radar on Thursday night with three passengers on board at Kahuro in Murang’a.  

The Cessna 206 registration number 5y BUG was headed to Wilson Airport from Nanyuki.

According to Jammie Roberts, a director of Tropic Air, who had donated a helicopter to carry out the rescue mission, the plane was flying from Lentille Airstrip in Laikipia to Wilson Airport.
