Eldoret, Kenya: Police on Tuesday evening gunned down four people in Kipkaren, Eldoret over theft of million of shillings on transit in Siaya County.
Seven other suspects were arrested as police recovered Sh1.4 million in 50 shillings denominations.
The money that was in transit from Busia to Kisumu was stolen on Tuesday morning and the vehicle used to transport it was abandoned as the occupants went missing.
Administration Police officers and those from G4S Company abandoned the vehicle in Rangala area in Siaya County after collecting the cash from the border town.
