Eight people are feared dead and several others seriously injured, following a land slide in Mathare slums earlier this morning. The land slide is said to have been caused by heavy rains last night, a number of people are said to be trapped under large boulders. Rescue efforts by members of public, the Kenya red-cross and the national youth service is currently underway.
