Global YouTube star MrBeast has announced plans to return to Kenya, a revelation that has thrilled fans both locally and across the region.
The popular content creator, born Jimmy Donaldson, shared the update in a recent video as he spoke candidly about his hectic lifestyle. He explained that his work schedule is intense and leaves him with very little time at home, largely because of his constant international travel. While outlining his upcoming plans, MrBeast mentioned several destinations he intends to visit soon.
“After this, I am going to Dubai, then to Kenya, to Ghana, Mexico and South America,” he said, officially confirming Kenya as one of his next stops.
Although he did not disclose the exact dates or purpose of the trip, the simple mention of Kenya was enough to spark widespread excitement online. Many fans fondly remember his previous visit to the country and are eager to see what his return might involve.
MrBeast is globally celebrated for his extravagant, high-production videos, massive challenges and large-scale philanthropic efforts. His trips outside the United States are often tied to content creation or charity-focused projects, which have led many to speculate that his visit to Kenya could once again have a meaningful impact.
In April last year, MrBeast spoke openly about a visit he made to Kenya, where his goal was to support school children by encouraging viewers to watch his videos as a way of funding the initiative.
On his YouTube channel on April 12, 2025, the billionaire showcased his generosity by providing free breakfast and lunch to students, stating, “The more of you that watch this video, the longer we'll be able to keep the program going”.
Beyond meals, he also helped improve infrastructure at the school. “And on top of revamping the school, we also built a well for water storage. Plus, a greenhouse and a farm,” he said.
Emphasising the scale of the support, he added, “We are hooking this school up with everything they need. And for the influx of students in neighbouring schools, we are partnering with massive farms, like this one”.
He further surprised the community by unveiling new farming equipment, announcing, “We brought you a brand new tractor” to speed up farm work after observing how time-consuming manual labour was.
With his return now confirmed, many Kenyans will be keenly watching to see what MrBeast has planned next.
