The county health department are using victims of polio to promote immunisation as it seeks to eradicate the disease in the area.
Bondo Sub-County Medical Officer Charles Mbeya said the victims are helpful as they have credible testimonies on the dangers of not being immunised.
The county is targeting to vaccinate at least 45,571 children of under the age of five. He urged parents to ensure their children are immunised.
