Kenyan socialite and influencer Amber Ray has returned to Kenya after several weeks in Istanbul, Turkey, where she underwent cosmetic procedures and a major dental makeover.

The socialite, whose real name is Faith Makau, was welcomed home by her husband, businessman Kennedy Rapudo, who surprised her at the airport at about 2am with a large bouquet of flowers.

In a video shared on her Instagram Stories, an emotional Amber hugged Rapudo before thanking him for the late-night welcome.

“Thank you so much my love @kennedyrapudo,” she captioned the video, alongside a heart emoji.

Amber had documented her cosmetic surgery journey and recovery on social media throughout her stay in Turkey.

She said she underwent several procedures during a six-hour operation at Mono Cosmetic Surgery in Istanbul.

The procedures included breast augmentation, 360-degree liposuction and a calf fat transfer, in which fat removed during liposuction was used to enhance the shape of her lower legs.

Amber said she opted against a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), saying she was already satisfied with her natural curves.

She also underwent a major dental makeover, replacing 21 teeth for cosmetic reasons.

Amber said each tooth cost about Sh44,000, putting the total cost of the dental work at roughly Sh924,000.

She described the immediate period after the surgery as painful but said her recovery improved quickly.
