Pritty Vishy claims Stevo Simple Boy rejected Sh1m deal to avoid working with her
Kenyan content creator Pritty Vishy has claimed her ex-boyfriend, rapper Stevo Simple Boy, turned down a Sh1 million influencer deal because he did not want to work with her.
The allegation, made during an appearance on the Iko Nini Podcast, has reignited debate among fans who have continued to follow the former couple's turbulent relationship.
Pritty, whose real name is Purity Vishenwa, claimed Stevo still avoids situations where they might cross paths and continues to hold a grudge against her for ending their relationship.
Speaking on the podcast, she said, "Hanipendi... ako na grudge na mimi because I broke up with him," adding that the lingering resentment has cost them potential professional opportunities.
The 24-year-old claimed the now-defunct Sh1 million campaign would have featured both of them, but Stevo allegedly pulled out after learning she would be involved.
However, Stivo Simple Boy dismissed the allegations as baseless.
"There is nothing of that sort. Our break-up had nothing to do with the said endorsement. I speak as someone who knows about Pritty Vishy more than anyone else," he told TNX Africa in a phone interview.
Online, the podcast interview sparked mixed reactions.
Ann Kimoi wrote, "There is a difference between hate, boundaries and self-respect."
Caroline Waithera commented, "Most breakups come with cutting ties completely. Burning bridges and uprooting the whole tree from the roots, hence a big void." Chris Richer simply remarked, "Ni mbayaa."
Following the publicly responded to the allegations.
Without confirmation from the rapper or the brand involved, the exact circumstances surrounding the alleged deal remain unclear.
However, the pair's relationship has previously unfolded in the public eye, with frequent appearances together on social media and in interviews that attracted both support and criticism.
Since their split, they have pursued separate careers, although occasional comments about their breakup have continued to generate headlines.
Pritty has built a profile as an influencer, entrepreneur and content creator, regularly sharing lifestyle content, brand partnerships and personal updates.
She has also spoken openly about the pressures of life in the spotlight, including criticism surrounding her cosmetic procedures.
Stevo Simple Boy, known for his hit songs and humble persona, remains a prominent figure in Kenya's entertainment scene.
Last week, he was embroiled in an online spat with Andrew Kibe, who made harsh remarks about the rapper's appearance and family, drawing widespread backlash.
