Media personality and content creator Liz Jackson has finally spoken out amid intense speculation linking her to the late former Lugari MP and cabinet minister, Cyrus Jirongo, following his tragic death.
During a live phone interview on Milele FM's Ankali Ray, Jackson addressed the rumours without directly confirming or denying them.
“I do not think there is anyone who is happy when someone else loses their life. That’s how I feel being linked with such claims, but it’s okay. Mnikome tu,” she said, audibly angered.
Her remarks marked her first detailed public reaction since the rumours began circulating.
Jackson’s statement came after social media was flooded with speculation suggesting Jirongo had been in the company of a woman shortly before his death.

The rumours intensified after photos resurfaced of Jackson posing with a Mercedes-Benz similar to the one involved in the accident, leading online users to draw unverifiable connections.
While she did not comment on whether the vehicle belonged to her or on any personal relationship with Jirongo, Jackson made it clear she wanted privacy and urged the public to allow the late politician to rest in peace.
Cyrus Jirongo passed away on Saturday, December 13, following a fatal crash along the Nakuru–Nairobi Highway in the early hours.
Police reports indicate that the accident occurred after a head-on collision between his white Mercedes-Benz and a passenger bus.
He has been mourned widely, particularly in political circles, as a steadfast leader who refused to be limited by life's everyday challenges.
