Musician Arrow Bwoy has urged his male followers to consider using protection until they are prepared to be parents.

The Dodo singer voiced his sentiments on social media, advising men to strap up until they are ready to deal with the drama that often comes with their partners being pregnant.

"Boychild kama hauko ready na hizi mbwe mbwe za pregnancy journey tumia tu jwala na ukijipata hapa please cooperate, he wrote.

True to Arrow Bwoy's words, pregnancy comes with many ups and downs that require partners to be in a willing position to assist and work through in every way possible.

Opening up on their not-so-rosy pregnancy journey in a previous interview, the singer and his girlfriend, songstress Nadia Mukami disclosed the difficulty they had to endure to bring forth their child.

"Pregnancy isn't easy. Mothers don't tell us the truth. Morning sickness can be throughout the pregnancy, you're just sick. For me I had anemia and couldn't eat because I used to vomit a lot. From the second trimester, there is a huge discrepancy between my face and body. My back is dark and the front side is light. It can alter your self-esteem especially if you're in the limelight," said Nadia.

Despite the difficulties experienced, Arrow Bwoy said he supported and encouraged Nadia throughout her pregnancy.

"She is a fighter. After we lost our first child, I decided to stick with her and when we got pregnant again, I told her I'll support her through everything," said Arrow Bwoy.

After suffering the loss of their first pregnancy, the celebrity couple made up their mind to keep their next pregnancy private. According to Nadia, the decision to keep the journey private was so that she and her partner could have the luxury of embracing the sacred moment of growing a life.

"I remember when I got pregnant, God remembered me the most. I have done so many cooperate deals because I have embraced my journey privately. Watu wa blogs mko hapa najua mtasema Nadia alikuwa anaficha mimba, no. Pregnancy is a very private journey, there are days you wake up you have a big meeting but you just want to sleep the whole day. So sometimes some of us don't want to reveal it out there," said Nadia.

Unfortunately, news of their pregnancy became public after their close friend Jalang'o mistakenly mentioned it during an interview, a move that angered the duo.

"What you did was outright wrong, to be honest. If it was a blogger, a promoter or a fan, I wouldn't even care. But you invited us to your personal space, so that you can open your mouth and the next thing you try to do is justify it and say you are not sorry," responded Nadia.
