It's 'More Love Less Ego' for Wizkid's new album By Fay Ngina | May. 25, 2022 Nigerian Singer WizKid.Grammy Award winner WizKid got fans excited after he recently announced the completion of his fifth studio album ‘More Love Less Ego.’ Born Ayo Balogun, the Nigerian singer told his fans via Instagram that the album was made "with a lot of love" before thanking the contributors.“I finished my album days ago! See you soon!! Love you all for real #MLLE,” said WizKid, adding, “Special thanks to everyone that helped me put this together. Y’all got a special place in my heart.”The Essence hitmaker said the MLLE album would be released on the last day of his tour while celebrating the first anniversary of his previous album, Made in Lagos. Less than a year after its release, WizKid’s fourth studio album MIL recorded over one billion streams globally, making it a huge success.The album also earned Wizkid his Grammy win for Best Global Song at the 2020 Grammy awards and a nod at the 2022 Grammy Awards for Best Global Music Album.His smash hit Essence featuring Tems hit a new peak of No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned him another nod for Best Global Music Performance.The 14-track album featured big names in the music industry, including Grammy winners H.E.R and Burna Boy, Ella Mai, Tems, Tay Iwar, Terri, Skepta, and Jamaican artistes Projexx and Damian Marley.
