This week, celebrity rapper and cook drew his family and fans’ attention to wide spread rumours that he had married. Well, they say wherever there is smoke there is fire and for the eligible bachelor who has had every single woman’s eye on him, that would call for real attention.

This is how it all started. There was an awkward moment when media personality Joey Muthengi got an unusual fan on her page with an account bearing the names of her brother.

The lady who has named her account as Mrs Holy Dave raised eyebrows when she responded to Joey’s post with love emojis, raising eyebrows and prompting the media siren to accost the account holder.

“I need to know when my brother got married and I also need to meet his wife.’’

Dave, equally astonished, questioned how he’d explain the situation to his family. "I don’t know what to tell my sister' leaving their social media fans puzzled.

However, it has now emerged the lady in question is a fan with a crush on the rapper. "She’s just a pal," he laughed it off while speaking to Standard Entertainment.

A while back Holy Dave opened up on how he had been receiving numerous approaches from would-be suitors, some who had their parents call on him asking him to marry their daughters. At some point, he responded to an email from a parent who had offered her daughter's hand in marriage, making it all public.

“I get a lot of that but I chose to respond politely as I'm patient and hopeful that God has a plan to have me settle with an enviable family. Not in a rush but the ideal candidate must be God-fearing, kind and open-minded,” said the young PhD holder, adding that “You have to be ready to learn new things so as to get to my books”.

The singer said his inbox is always full of proposals from beautiful girls, and now their parents too.
