A collection of cons, including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin and everyone’s favourite psycho, Harley Quinn are assembled and armed heavily. They are then and dropped on the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese.
Trekking through a jungle teeming with militant adversaries and guerrilla forces at every turn, the Squad is on a search-and-destroy mission. And as always, one wrong move and they are dead.

The most outstanding thing about this latest squad is how they mix in everything. You get a little comedy, dark comedy, fantasy, thriller, drama, superhero, spoof and social and political commentaries, all together in one beautiful film.
The cinematography is amazing; in one scene two characters are fighting and it is shown through the reflection of a helmet. In a specific fight scene, instead of “blood” coming out of the bodies, it is “flowers,” which makes the three or so minutes of the scene very colourful and fun to watch. The cast is also great, with Margot Robbie proving for the third time she is the right mix of beautiful, crazy and wild that Harley Quinn is.

When it comes to flaws, the ending is thinly written with one character taking the lead instead of “teamwork” getting the job done. They also waste many of the potential characters in the opening scene insofar some of them never even got the chance to show their depth and skills.
Verdict:
Further proof (after Snyder’s Justice League) that having the right people behind a film (James Dunn) is the only way DC can be successful. Exceedingly better than Suicide Squad 1.
