Kanye West took peacocking to the extreme as he arrived in New York. The rapper is well known for his bold fashion choices, and his latest ensemble is no different. Kim Kardashian's husband certainly stood out from the crowd as he arrived in NYC after being holed up in his Wyoming ranch.

Kanye, 43, was pictured as he stepped out of a car wearing a striking blue bomber jacket that featured airbrushed pictures of his kids and the words "deeply loved" emblazoned across the back. He paired his jacket with a red T-shirt and green and yellow tie-dye jeans, finishing his outfit off with his bizarre-looking Coconut Hole foam shoes.

Kanye protected himself and others by covering his nose and mouth with a black face mask and popped some sunglasses on for that extra cool edge. He stopped to chat with a small group of fans who approached him and appeared to be flanked by at least three bodyguards as he made his way back to the car.

Clearly a busy man, Kanye was checking his phone while he walked. The sighting comes after Kanye suffered a huge setback in his bid for the Presidency. The star, who shares kids North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm with wife Kim, is officially running for President of the United States this year, taking on current leader Donald Trump, who he has previously been a big supporter of.

But he's been dealt a huge blow after submitting his documents to register for the Wisconsin ballot paper too late. It's now been confirmed that he won't be featured on the ballots in this key state. So far, Kanye's Presidential bid has been a dramatic one.

Weeks ago, he caused an uproar at his first rally as he made a string of controversial comments during his speech. Perhaps the most shocking was his confession that he and Kim had considered aborting North for the first months of the pregnancy. He later took aim at Kim and her famous family in a series of scathing tweets which he's since deleted.

It's been said that the couple has been having crisis talks and are on the brink of divorce, and Kim was even spotted crying her eyes out during a tense chat with her husband in Wyoming.
