Kenyan singer and songwriter, Victoria Kimani is now the new Brand Ambassador for Maybelline New York, one of the world’s leading cosmetic brands.

The Afro-pop singer took to social media to share the news with her fans.

“When it comes to my dreams .... I am known to MAKE IT HAPPEN! Regardless of language, location, time, Rules, obstacles and hurdles that I face... nothing can stand in the way of A girl on a Mission!” she posted.

The songstress will be the face of the global cosmetic giant, joining the likes of Jourdan Dunn and Gigi Hadid.

She is also the first African artist to partner with the brand, which is owned by French multinational L’Oréal and was started in 1915 by Thomas Lyle Williams.

The ‘China Love’ hitmaker thanked Maybelline for the opportunity which she termed as an honor, further adding that her love for makeup was one of the reasons why she chose to work with Maybelline.

“This is such an honor and a beautiful crowning for me because well.... if you know me, you know that I LOVE MAKE UP and a good face beat!!,” her post read.
