Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) have requested President Uhuru Kenyatta to include Dr Bitange Ndemo in his cabinet.
This is after Ndemo, a former permanent secretary in the Ministry of Information and Communications appeared in a live TV interview on January 11 to speak on cryptocurrency.
Following his explanation on what the bitcoin is, he earned praise from KOT, with some opining that President Uhuru Kenyatta should consider the associate professor at the University of Nairobi for a cabinet position.

Ndemo, who is also a columnist with a local paper once wrote a controversial article on creating a machine to make ugali.
“It would also become easier to control the quality and texture of ugali since quality currently depends on the mood of the woman. Ugali would eventually have a standardised recipe and production process, including tasting and designed packaging, and be commercialized” argued Ndemo.
The call by KOT comes at a time when Kenyans are waiting with bated breath for President Uhuru Kenyatta to announce his much-awaited Cabinet.
Speaking to the press on 10 January, National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale said the full Cabinet would be announced by next week.
"Get it from me, the President will have a full Cabinet by end of next week," he said, without giving further details.
