Christmas, a time when families come together and have a good time to celebrate the birth of Christ. However, this is also the time to make a baby!

Indiana University and the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciencia in Portugal did a research to show that people google sex-related terms during cultural and religious celebrations for a period of 10 years in 130 countries.

The research showed that a lot of people use the word ‘sex’ and other sex-related terms on the internet during religious and cultural celebrations worldwide. The study also showed that nine months later after Christmas, there was an increase in the number of births, September babies.

Scientists from the two universities also theorized the Journal of Scientific Reports where an increase in the number of pregnancies during the festive season is more likely dedicated by cultural and religious necessities.
