Mukami Mwaura, wife to MP Isaac Mwaura has come out to air her views on Size 8 and Willy Paul’s Tiga Wana song.
In a post on Facebook she admits that while she may not be a musician, she knows a good song when she hears one. According to her a gospel song is supposed to put you in a worship mood, have a video that just by watching it you sense divine power, be a sound of hope to a heart in despair, but when some words do not make sense, then it makes no sense to release the song otherwise.
Her advice is that they should not cave into the pressure of releasing songs. This comes after a fan observed that secular artistes produce more inspiring songs than those who are called and commissioned to do it.
Mukami further observes that the pressure to release songs may not be the issue at all but just a way to win awards.
